From Vision to Reality
TAD Motors was founded with a singular purpose: to make electric mobility accessible to everyday Africans. In 2023, we established TAD Motors SEZ Limited in Kenya, marking the country's entry into EV manufacturing.
Our manufacturing facility at Naivasha Special Economic Zone represents a significant investment in Kenya's industrial future. Here, we assemble complete vehicles using CKD (Complete Knock-Down) kits, creating hundreds of jobs and developing local technical expertise.
We're building on over three decades of automotive experience, including establishing Ethiopia's first car assembly factory. Now, we're bringing that proven track record to Kenya with vehicles engineered specifically for African conditions.
